Services
Individual Employment
You Are Seen’s Individual Employment (IE) services are designed to reflect each person’s unique strengths, interests, and career goals while promoting long-term success in integrated, competitive employment at or above Washington’s minimum wage. Our team provides personalized supports such as intake, discovery, assessment, job preparation, job marketing, and on-the-job coaching to ensure meaningful placements in the general
workforce.
You Are Seen’s School-to-Work (STW) program partners with Spokane County Developmental Disabilities Division, local school districts, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) to support students in their final year of transition services (typically ages 20–21) in achieving paid employment by graduation. Our team provides personalized guidance in job exploration, skill development, and placement to help each student discover meaningful career opportunities. By working closely with families, schools, DVR counselors, and community employers, You Are Seen ensures a smooth and successful transition from school to competitive, integrated employment.
You Are Seen’s Community Inclusion (CI) services empower individuals to thrive in truly integrated community settings that reflect their interests and goals. We focus on helping each person actively participate in their local community, building confidence, independence, and meaningful daily routines. Our ultimate goal is to foster natural relationships and connections so that, over time, individuals no longer need paid supports to remain engaged and included.
Job Foundation
You Are Seen’s Job Foundation program partners with students with disabilities—typically ages 19–20—during their second-to-last year of transition services to support focused employment planning and early connections to the adult service system. Our team works closely with students and families to identify each student’s strengths, interests, and the supports needed to achieve meaningful, community-based employment. Through this process, we develop a comprehensive Job Foundation Report that provides actionable steps and a clear pathway toward successful employment outcomes.
