Jared Thomas

Jared Thomas, Director of You Are Seen, smiling outdoors and representing leadership in person-centered disability support

Jared grew up in Oregon, but has lived in Spokane with his wife and two sons the last 18 years. Balancing life between work and personal life, he has been coaching youth sports for the last 16 years. Since being a peer tutor in Special Education classes in middle school, he has worked his way to earning his Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. With a background of teaching individuals with disabilities for the last ten years, Jared brings compassion and an understanding of the needs in this community. While running a Work Based Learning program at the high school level, Jared understands the importance of individuals with disabilities accessing and integrating into the community. He’s committed to making sure every individual is seen for their abilities and continually striving to meet everyone’s individual needs.
